International Congress on Sound and Vibration will be held on July 11-16,
Due to the Covid-19 situation, ICSV27 will become completely virtual. It will be held on schedule during the week of July 11-16, 2021. Because of the different time zones around the world, all papers will be pre-recorded. Full written papers must be submitted before April 31, 2021. Only authors with accepted abstracts and full written papers can take part in presenting papers during the scheduled sessions. Questions and answers will be handled through the chatbox system. They will be answered after each paper has been presented.
Other delegates without abstracts and written papers can also attend the
virtual ICSV27 on payment of the registration fee. The fee for all delegates
presenting papers and those without papers is $400 USD, if paid before 15 April, and $450 after that until 31 May, 2021. If
you are an IIAV member, the fees are reduced by $80 USD to $320 and $370
respectively. The fee for students is $220.
The ICSV27 system will be open for registration payments after March 3, 2021. If you have already made a registration fee payment, exceeding these amounts, you can ask for a refund for the excess by writing to firstname.lastname@example.org
The ICSV27 website is being updated and we will keep you informed by email as further information becomes available.
Late Abstract Deadline: 31 January 2021
NEW Full Papers Deadline: 30 April 2021
Registrations for virtual ICSV27 are open from 3 March 2021.
Because of the pandemic and lack of time, the organizers are willing, this one time, to allow participants to take part in the technical programme with only an abstract, although an extended two-page abstract is preferred.
Those taking part in the technical programme must re-register and have paid their registration fee(s) and have a full paper or abstract.
Electronic versions of all accepted full papers will be submitted for publication in "Scopus" and the "Web of Science".
The International Institute of Acoustics and Vibration (IIAV), the Czech Acoustical Society and the Czech Society for Mechanics are pleased to invite scientists and engineers from all over the world to attend the 27th International Congress on Sound and Vibration (ICSV27) to be VIRTUAL 11–16 July 2021.
This congress is a leading event in the area of acoustics and vibration and provides an important opportunity for scientists and engineers to share their latest research results and exchange ideas on theories, technologies and applications in these fields. The congress will feature a broad range of high-level technical papers from across the world: distinguished plenary lectures will present recent developments in important topics of sound and vibration and include discussions about future trends.
The year 2020 is the International Year of Sound (IYS 2020), the global initiative, proposed and coordinated by the International Commission on Acoustics (ICA), to highlight the importance of sound and related sciences and technologies for all in society. IYS 2020 refers to the UNESCO "Charter of Sound" n. 39C / 59 and involves the entire international acoustic community to promote best practices in sound during the year of 2020.
IIAV is a founding member of the International Year of Sound (IYS 2020) and ICSV27 is one of the events scheduled for 2020 in the frame of this initiative to stimulate the understanding throughout the world of the wide application of sound in our daily life and to highlight the benefits of sound while controlling the unwanted noise.
More details on IYS 2020 and the calendar of the events at the regional, the national, and the international levels can be found at https://sound2020.org.
