Postponement of ICSV27 to July 11-15, 2021
The 27th International Congress on Sound and Vibration will be held on July 11-15, 2021.
Covid-19 permitting, we are going to hold the ICSV27 in its traditional format with in-person attendance. However, we are closely following the news on the pandemic and are prepared to change the format to hybrid or fully virtual if necessary. Regardless of the pandemic situation, the congress will be organised, but the format will be adjusted as the health and well-being of all delegates is our priority.

The registrations for the ICSV27 are open again from October 12, 2020.
In case you already submitted your Abstract and Paper, you will be allowed to re-submit an updated version. In such case, the deadlines for re-submitting will be the same as for new submissions.
If you already submitted a Paper with layout, you can leave it in the system - the Papers will be accepted with both layouts - old and new one. The new layout will be uploaded soon.
Late Abstract Deadline: 31 January 2021

The year 2020 is the International Year of Sound (IYS 2020), the global initiative, proposed and coordinated by the International Commission on Acoustics (ICA), to highlight the importance of sound and related sciences and technologies for all in society. IYS 2020 refers to the UNESCO "Charter of Sound" n. 39C / 59 and involves the entire international acoustic community to promote best practices in sound during the year of 2020.
IIAV is a founding member of the International Year of Sound (IYS 2020) and ICSV27 is one of the events scheduled for 2020 in the frame of this initiative to stimulate the understanding throughout the world of the wide application of sound in our daily life and to highlight the benefits of sound while controlling the unwanted noise.
More details on IYS 2020 and the calendar of the events at the regional, the national, and the international levels can be found at https://sound2020.org.
